I have tried but have never encountered this "media quality grade" in
cdrecord's output. Could you please post a sample command and its output.
Here is what I do:
/usr/bin/cdrecord -v -v -v -v -v -v -v -v -eject dev=0,0 speed=24 fs=8M padsize=150s
-pad -data -dao debian-30r0-i386-binary-1_NONUS.iso
No sight of any "grade" in the output that ensues, a quote of the output from
your box would help...
