Hi,
If you dont mind, can u please follow the below mentioned steps. Please
cooperate with me and spend some time for me.
Thank you very much for your response. Here I am sending an simple C program
which uses framebuffer device. Now, you please download this attached program
i.e., rect.c and compile as
# gcc rect.c -o rect
Then, run this executable program like # ./rect
Please remember, you should run this program from console only and not from
x-server. You can logon to Xserver. But, if you want to run this program,
please go Ctrl+Alt+F1 and login into console. Now, you can run this program.
Now, please download the Lapton linux and copy into the first floppy as
mentioned by that website.
Now, please prepare the second floppy with any file system (ext2 or vfat or as
u wish) and copy this executable file i.e., rect into that floppy.
Now, Insert the first floppy (Lapton) and start the system. Now, Linux started
and prompt will come.
Now, mount the second floppy and try to run the executable file i.e., rect.
Now, that will display the error i.e., "File not found". This is my actual
problem.
Now, I think that you can understand my problem. Please show me the solution.
I will be looking forward to your reply. Thanking you.
With best regards,
Chandra.

I cant give you the exact solution, but here is what i would do if i
were you.
Compile all tools with a single compiler including ur c program.
Remove some stuff from the lapton disk(which is unneccessary fot start up).
Add a script to lapton disk, which will copy data from your floppy
intomemory.
Install lapton disk.
Copy whatever you want into other disks and use the script to copy them.
