Hello everybody,

We are actively looking for help in translating the Sugar project
(http://www.sugarlabs.org/) into Telugu. Two members of this group
(Shakthi Kannan and Thejaswi Puthraya) have had the good fortune of
visiting a school in Aziznagar (near the new airport) where we have a
new OLPC deployment getting ready to get off the ground. This project
is being spearheaded by the KMR Foundation
(http://www.kmrfoundation.org). The school would benefit immensely
from having the UI in both English and Telugu. We may even have the
Hindi translation installed. The translation for Hindi is complete,
thanks to Satyaakam Goswami (http://satyaakam.net/).

Any help would be great. Either let me, Shakthi or Thejaswi know or
just post back to the list.

The translation infrastructure is largely managed by Sayamindu
Dasgupta (http://sayamindu.randomink.org/), and is based on Pootle.
Here are a few slides to get you off the ground.
