If you buy the right model of router. Are you sure you are getting an ethernet drop in your house rather than a phone cable that plugs into the back of a broadband router? If its ethernet any old wifi router will do. If its a phone cable there are some linksys / smc / dlink etc models that are dsl router + wifi router - cost a bit more expensive than a standard dsl router or standard wifi router
