Dear ILWIS Users, here's my problem: I need to calculate the average distance from the closest settlement of a set of forest patches, scattered within the landscape. I created, via Area Numbering, a map containing the forest patches. Then I created, via Distance Operator, a map showing the distance from the closest settlements of every pixels of the study area. Now I'd need, somehow, to cross the two maps, and aggregating the distance values of the pixels belonging to each of the forest patches. Afterwards, I could calculate, within every patch, the average value of these pixels, obtaining the patch average distance from the closest settlements. I hope it was clear... Can anybody help me in performing this in ILWIS? thanks in advance cheers Davide ________________________________________________________ To leave the ILWIS-LIST discussion list, send a email with 'unsubscribe ilwis-list' in the body to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
