(ilwis-list) how to view 3d properly?

Hi,   I have generated a dem and would like to view 3d. My problem is ILWIS shows only part of the area not the whole lot and it is also not very significant in showing the relief of the land surface. The elevation of my dem ranges from 70m-1400m above mean sea level.
