Hey everyone;
My parents own an iMac DV400(grape) and usually consult with me when they have a problem, which is not often. Anyway this morning my father called to tell me he could not find his Hard Drive icon anymore? he said that netscape had crashed and when he restarted the computer he could no longer find his name on the drive. It turns out the hard drive had been renamed "0041v"; I instructed him how to rename it and it did not work! When you click the icon it does not even change color, I had him trash the finder preferences and rebuild the desktop, nothing worked, I also had him run disk utilities just to check the drive, everything was OK.
