I have found the site http://www.memoryx.net/ to be very helpful. Now don't get me wrong, they sell memory and my intent here is not to advertise them, but they do make finding the proper memory for all the different mac models simple. Through that you can find info on all of the memory specs for your particular machine. Then you can use the info any way you please.
