Problem 1: I am running an iMac 333 (CD drawer) with 160MB RAM and System 8.6. I often will get crashes and freezes. Sometimes even when rebooting it will immediately freeze again with the cursor in the upper left of the machine.
Problem 2: I recently made the move to a cable internet connection via Cox. I'm enjoying the speed, but sometimes it would hang when trying to access web sites via AOL. After a number of calls to AOL, they say that the problem is that I'm running the 2.0.3 version of Open Transport and that I need 2.5 or later. I found version 2.6 on the Apple site but it says it will not work on my iMac only the slot CD version! I have not been able to find 2.5 anywhere. Any help? Should I just move on up to OS 9?
