Hello All, I'm very pleased with my new Flat iMac and OS X, but stable .........?
Three times the machine froze up on me and there was no way out. No pointer, Apple not to be opened to reach force quite and trying key combinations was a lottery that didn't work either. I had to unplug and restart but this affected my volume structure so I had to start all over again to clean it up . Initialize, reinstall OS 9,2 and 10 and all other programs I use. The this occured twice when I optimized my HD with TT Pro 3.0.3 .The third time it happened was when I was playing Tomb Raider 4. With my DV 400 Mhz SE I could always force quit with the known key/switch combination and no harm was done.
