The Help Center can describe (and even walk you through, thanks to
AppleScript) setting up filesharing between the two computers.
Basically, though, turn on File Sharing (in teh File Sharing control
panel) on the Rev B iMac. then, on the Flat-panel, go to the "Go"
menu and choose Connect to Server. Select the other iMac, supply name
and password, and it should then mount on the desktop.

FWIW, with most (all?) recent Apple products, you no longer have to
use a cross over cable to do this; they 'autosense' what they're
connecting to and automatically cross over. :) I do this between my
PowerBook G4 and my PowerMac G4 all the time.
