Hello All, Many thanks Tinman, Jeremy and others who gave me a way out of the 'freeze'. The power switch works without pulling the plug. Upgrading TT Pro to 3.0.6 helps aswell. Thanks again.
But now I'm up to the next problem. Promised my wife she could have my 400Mhz DV SE when I had my Flat iMac under control. How to move her files from her 266 Mhz iMac to the DV? Heard about a crosover cable which I acquired but plugging it in the ethernet outlets of both machines does nothing. The 266 Mhz iMac has system 9.1 and the DV has OS X.. Any specific settings on the 266 apart from sharing as 'guest", copying all files in the sharing window? TIA for taking me by the hand. I'm a bit embarrased.
