Hi R.A., I hate when that happens. IIRC, OE says subfolders can't be remade into folders. But it's not a big problem. If you have a pre-5 version of OE, just go (in Finder) into the Users folder in OE, find the relevant folders, and drag the subfolder back into the folder list.
I think it's harder in OE 5 (that impenetrable database I was complaining about recently.) There AFAIK the easiest thing to do is to make a new folder, drag contents of old folder to new folder, trash old (sub) folder.
