You can change the size of the text in an email message by going to the preferences, font and selecting "Writing Mail" in the drop down menu "Font for:" If it is an internal AOL mail (from another AOL user) I don't think you can change other font attributes, but the size does change. Part of the problem is that AOL mail isn't really plain text. The sender can format the mail to use whatever font they want. Incoming plain text emails though will use the font selected for "Writing Mail" As far as the Welcome screen, I know of no way to change it's size.
