Has anyone read David Pogue's article on OS X in the special edition of MacWorld on OS X? He mentions that Quicktime movies play with lower frame rate in OS X for those of us with G3 processors and ATI graphics cards. Has anyone noticed this? Any comments? Is this a new chasm of performance between pre-2001 mac hardware and , as someone wrote at lowend mac, "an elite" corps of G4 and beyond Apple users? Is it a given that there's no way around this issue? No way to upgrade graphics performance for the G3 generation? Donald
