All is working fine now (third times the charm) but this is freaking me out
a little.

I have a 500 MHz G3 iMac, OS 9.2.1, OS X.1. I stay mostly in OS 9, but
occasionally see what OS X is like. This time, I thought I'd check out
Photoshop 7 in X. The thing is, Photoshop 7 needs OS 10.1.3 (I think) but I
only have 10.1.1 (I think). Whatever version it is, it's supposdely missing
some files for PS 7. But, PS ran anyway, and I got to look at it in OS X.
Cool.

But when switching back to 9, I get the question mark disk during startup.
Twice. I've never seen it before on this Mac. Freaked me out. The third time
I rebooted, I pressed down the shift key (like that would help - I dunno)
and it booted up normally.

Now I am freaking out a bit. I don't feel like switching to OS X anymore, if
I am going to have to face a blinking question mark when I switch back to OS
9. Is this just one of those random glitches that sometimes happen, is PS 7
to blame, or what?

If any of you can offer help or advice, I'd appreciate it! Thanks,
JR
