On the other hand....are you sure that you want to ??? Did going from OS 8.5.1 to OS 8.6 change your Mac much?
System 9.1 is a slight improvement in terms of file-sharing via TCP/IP or something like that, but I think OS 8.6 is a bit quicker than OS 9.1 on Macs with less than a lot of RAM. Go to 9.1 if you have to but if 8.6 does everything you want, why bother. Upgrades should be FREE but they do cost money, and if the same money for the 9.1 CD put an extra 256 Megs of RAM into your iMac instead, I think that would be a better idea.
