First you might want to ask yourself if you really need the upgrade? If your computer is running fine (and I hear that 8.6 is soooo stable) then maybe better to leave it alone. Usually it's better not to upgrade unless you are having problems or absolutely have to have whatever new feature or features are in the upgrade. I'm not alone in that opinion.
