I had a person who I donated a computer to have the same problem. He called
all over for help. He is disabled, so after being unable to solve the prob
by telephone, the local ISP sent a techie to his house. The techie couldn't
find the solution. Call others for help...The Apple Store told him to yank
his modem...I went over "just to see what I could do" and it turned out he
forgot to hang up his phone!
