The rev. a to d were all tray loading and had the bottom cover with a handle
and and single screw. The models that followed stopped using the rev.
letters. The later slot loading models had flaps in the base for memory
access and another cover that on some models could access and external port
for video mirroring. The design was completely different, what was 2 boards
on the older iMacs became one, known as the power/analog/video board, all
boards have no compatibility with older models.
