It's a long time, and again there should be a native OSX version of the app. Curious, do you feel comfortable using the terminal? Also, I reccommend expanding the RAM ASAP. OS X likes a Lot of RAM and I think 768 Mb should be the minimum. Go buy at least the user upgrade 512 Mb RAM. You can get a good price under $100 now and I highly recommed it. You will notice a significant difference , especiallly if you a running a couple of large apps.
