Hi all, As mentioned previously that I am awaiting the 17"inch imac... How slowly the seconds pass now.
Considering the options for a network: DSL, airport (graphite), ibook (500MHz), laserjet, imac. I'm slowly getting my head around ethernet etc. Can the ibook and imac network directly with their airport cards? - I think I saw something about this option somewhere. The ibook must of course remain wireless to lead a fulfilling existence. Would the setup of DSL ethernet to the imac, with the airport connected to the printer acting as a wireless hub, work successfully? Am I overlooking something simpler? Its just that the imac only has one ethernet plug. Will I need to upgrade to the snow basestation? Sorry, I'm sure you've been through all this before.
