Hi, About a week ago I connected my 400 Mhz slot-loading iMac and PowerMac 7200/90 (Mac Os 9.2.2 and 9.0) with a crossover cable and thanks to some tips from this list I managed to transfer files between my computers. But the first time I used Outlook Express after changing the settings in the TCP/IP control panel back to the settings I use for connecting with the internet I got the pop-up helper you get when you use Outlook for the first time and my old mails and addresses seemed to be lost. Now I've got two questions: 1) I did not threw anything away, so I assume those mails and adresses are still somewhere on my computer. Can I find them again? 2) Although I switch regular between the TCP/IP settings used for connecting with the internet and those used for the connecting with my other Mac, I only had this problem once. Could this be because I created a new configuration after this first time I connected with my other Mac and did not change the configuration I use for connecting with the internet, what I did the first time. Or is there an other reason?
