Dennis, Outlook Express is not a good program for binary newsgroups. It doesn't know how to decode the files. You need a newsreader program to do it. NewsWatcher is a pretty good one, and it's free. Go to versiontracker.com and download the one for your OS. (You didn't say whether you are using OS 9 or X.) Depending on how the files are encoded, you may still need yet another decoder to view them (such as .rar files...). Some video formats created in Windows aren't readable on Mac at all, no matter what program you use-no decoder (or "codec") exists to translate them.
