If that's the case, you basically have two options: 1. Buy an external USB CD-RW. The best one I have found is Iomega, but that's not saying much. USB CD-RW are a mediocre experience at best. They usually work but are VERY VERY SLOW. They are even slower when trying to burn audio CDs (I recommend you burn those at 2x or less). Videos you can just forget about. 2. There's a company called MCE that used to offer to replace the CD-ROM in your iMac with a nice speedy CD-RW unit for a very reasonable fee, but you had to send them your unit and do without it for a while. A much better solution overall, but the waiting can be nerve-wracking. (of course if your machines DOES have Firewire, buy a FW CD-RW. *Vastly* better.) As for buying blank CDs, I like Verbatim Datalife. Never ever had a problem with them. _Chas_ Come to ...
