This ought to give everyone a laugh, but they say there are no stupid questions (except this one): What is top / bottom posting?
I've been web-surfing for well over 12 years, and until about 2 weeks ago had never heard of these terms. Mind you, I'm not trying to start something, or stir anything up - I just really want to know. It must be something really important as its been dominating this list for quite a while, and dummy me over here has just sat back and wondered "what the heck are they going on about?". Any help would be greatly appreciated. ************************************* ORIGINAL MESSAGE: That's because I haven't added it yet. Give me some time. That said, I have very clearly stated on this list that we recommend bottom posting as the general reply method on the list, so everyone who has been here for the last week or two knows our latest unwritten policy. When I have the opportunity, I will be summing up the reasons we recommend top posting on Low End Mac. Dan the listmom -- J. R.
