My friend tells me she is having continued problems with her iMac following an attempted upgrade from 8.5.1 from a source on the net. She didnt' mention where the upgrade was, but I suspect from the Mac home page.
The upgrade was unsuccesful and now she is having various problems using here old os (8.5.1). Is there a way to get back to where she was before the attemped upgrade? I think she still has the original CD with the os. Can she do a clean install and still of the os and still retain the various files and info on ther HD?
