Because you _implied_ it. Strongly. Now you repeated the implication
again. I think you should either stand behind your implication or
acknowledge that it was an unwarranted assumption about the original
poster. You should also keep in mind that lots of people *don't*
know things that you (or perhaps I) know, and taking a hostile tone
with them for their possible lack of knowledge doesn't do a whole
lot for the quality of the discussion. However, neither does arguing
on the list about it, which is why I'm just dropping you a private
note. I hope you'll take it in the spirit in which it's intended.
(I tried several times to express that spirit, but the best I can
get is it's the spirit of unsolicited interference--I hope I can
presume on our prior exchanges to excuse it).
