This is a snippet from a PC newsletter, concerning a virus/worm problem
that can affect PC computers:

* "... known Spyware/Adware parasites, Malware, Browser hijackers,
*Scumware, [and] Foistware." As the name implies, it's main focus is in
*detecting and removing components of advertising-based software that may
*covertly "phone home" or otherwise compromise your security.

It goes on to discuss available software to sniff out and remove these
parasites.

I don't recall ever seeing this discussed on this list. Does that mean that
Mac's aren't vulnerable to this problem? Or are they? If so, is there
Mac-specific software that can help?

Zippy
