Hi there, I've just been involved in a donation of several Powermac's to a local church for redeployment to kids. Amongst the batch were mostly 4400's and 6300CD's. However, I was offered a chance to take two I think they're Rev. B 233MHz iMac's. One was started and smoked! the other fired up and using it's OS cd I installed 8.5. It all seemed to work fine. There were no USB mice or keyboards with the iMac's so I plugged in my Logitech Scoll mouse and everything worked fine. I went away for 3 days (It was turned off) and on returning a started it got a "bong" then nothhhing on the screen. I tried starting form the CD and same thing, bong, heard the Harddrive and cd spin up, lots of activity noises, no video. Finally I unplugged the Logitech mouse and voila! Plugged mouse in worked fine. Popped the cd out restarted nothing. Un-plugged mouse tried to start nothing not a sound not even a bong the button on the front does not light, and I hear no fan, power-supply noises... Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to move back to a Mac which as a PC Lan Analyst I haven't used in 7 years but the first I worked on 20yrs ago was a an Apple II and I'd like to get this working... best Regards, Gareth
