Hey Amber, If you've actually "zeroed the data" you've erased your entire hard drive. This would have been unnecessary, for future reference. If you have actually erased your hard drive, and you have an OS 9 retail CD, you don't need to install OS 8.5, or anything else, beforehand (unless there are firmware problems I'm not aware of). Zeroing the data literally means that the utility writes a "0" in every disk sector, rendering the disc essentially unrecoverable (and therefore very securely erased).
