I too have been thinking of going with a 120gb, and don't=20 > think I have a problem with heat - at least not on my 40gb anyway I think the MacWorld article was cautioning owners of the FANLESS iMac=20= drives that there could be a potential heat issue. Owners of the Rev. A=20= and B iMacs with functioning fans can probably disregard the warning,=20 since their fans will simply kick on more often if they install a=20 hotter drive. Today's drives probably don't add much heat (compared to=20= the factory installed drives of yesteryear) anyway.<< ------------------------- Chas, others, I have seen reports on http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/ from owners of slot-loading iMacs, the fanless types, that they have not had heat problems with 3 1/2 inch 100GB HD's, like the Western Digital 7200 rpm type and other formerly large drives. I think the operative word in the MacWorld article is "potential"...a bit of CYA I imagine. Jerry -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
