Hello,

I was attempting to install a program (a samba server) which asked for the
root user to be enabled. I tried to do this using NetInfo, but I've since
discovered that it's not a terribly good idea to mess about with root when
you don't know what you are doing, so I abandoned that little project.

So, can anybody tell me how I can make sure that the root user is *not*
enabled in OS X (10.2) and get me out of this mess?

Many thanks,
James.
