Also, Apple has backed off on the 1 January 2003 cutoff date, 
somewhat. From what I've read, education machines and ONE version of 
the G4 for graphics professionals will still be able to boot up into 
Mac OS 9. These will be available until about June. You can probably 
bet that the "graphics" machine will be a version of the 
top-of-the-line tower and will probably have a higher price tag. All 
because Quark either can't or won't get their act together regarding 
a 10.x version of "express" (not very fast after all, it seems)
