MacWorld magazine (general topics, but somewhat focused on pro graphics/video) interviewed someone from Quark and they said they wanted to make sure it was done right. This was a valid excuse for Adobe with Photoshop 7, but it's been almost 2 years now. I use Adobe InDesign, which has some nifty features XPress doesn't have, but I see the dilemma that XPress users face: abandon the XPress upgrade path and invest $600 on a new program and deal with downtime of learning it, deal with Classic mode on a daily basis, or skip out on Mac OS X altogether, which is getting harder to do every day. Quark's position is getting pretty ridiculous by now, and people have been so vocal about it, I'm surprised they haven't taken the hint. -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
