When I upgraded the drive in my rev.B iMac, the 4 GB drive being 
replaced went straight into my Performa 6220 with no trouble.  If the 
Performa drive you are replacing is an EIDE drive (not SCSI), then you 
should have no trouble.   The only possible limitation I can imagine is 
that the Performa might only recognize 8 of the 10 GB -- and I could be 
totally mistaken in this regard.
