Sorry, I forgot about the few 680x0's that had IDE. The 635 does have
internal IDE and should support the iMac's hard drive with no problem.
Thanks for making me aware of my mistake.
If you use System 7.1 or older, you will have to partition the drive because
7.1 does not recognize partitions over 8GB. I think System 7.5 and up would
not have a problem with this, but Mac OS 8.1 is ideal so you can format the
drive as HFS+, resulting in huge disk space savings compared with
traditional HFS.
