It is possible to completely disassemble a pro keyboard, I don't have the patience for it: http://www.technology.niagarac.on.ca/people/bgracey/prokeyboardrepair.html I use rubbing alcohol with a soft cloth or a q-tip. No adverse reactions to date. It is quite easy to remove all the keys, one at a time. I usually just remove ones like the f-g-h-j-k sequence.
