Hello. I asked this question a few weeks ago and either no one responded or I just missed them I will explain this time with a little more detail.
We are the parents in charge of this year's graduation for our home school network. Nearly every year, the parents pay someone to put together photos of the graduates, recorded messages from the parents, and music in the background. This 20-30 minute video is played at graduation, and all the graduates get a copy. Last year's parents chose not to do the video because costs were so much higher. This year I'm thinking that I might be able to do the whole production myself. We purchased a Sony Handycam DV for Christmas. We have an iMac DV 400, with 1 gig of RAM. iMovie is installed on this computer (which was given to us a little over a year ago.) I've tried to play with the iMovie tutorial, but I think I may need to reinstall it, because it has caused a few crashes. Other than a DVD burner, what else do I need? Has anyone on the list done this type of a project?. I have about a week left to determine if I'm able to do this; otherwise I have to seriously find outside bids.
