I was an OmniWeb user. the only thing I had IE for was online banking,
My bank would not recognize, anything but IE and Netscape. I had some
trepidation about Safari based on the early reports, but it worked fine
for me. Since v51 update I have been using Safari as my default
browser. Very pleased so far. It does not have tabbed browsing but
that's not an issue for me.

It is certainly faster than than the other four browsers I have access
to loading the same pages over a 56k dial up. Best all the banks web
site just handles it fine. It only imports bookmarks from IE, however,
there is a slick little piece of freeware called "safari enhancer" that
will let you import bookmarks from almost every browser.
