Running Jaguar on
iMac Tangerine (Rev C)
G3 PPC
266 MHz
288MB RAM
500 MB Swap partition
No OS 9!

It's running Apache server, MySQL, Firewall, Snort, smtp on top of all  
the other toy apps.
So far no problem. Runs about as well as it did with Linux though  
virtually memory
management leaves a lot to be desired. I run developer tools and STILL  
don't have
many problems - just quit out of iCal, iChat, browsers, usual  
extraneous stuff.

I've gone to the store and all teh modern iMacs are oodles faster. But  
I'm not complaining
at all.

That's a GREAT DEAL. Do take advantage of it.
