I'm curious about this as well. I had an appletalk network set up between my old 6100 and the iMac while running 9.2. Since installing X.2.3, I haven't been able to access the iMac drives. I can still print to my Laserwriter through the 6100.
When I try to access the iMac from the 6100, the computer starts dialing out on the modem. Mind you, I haven't played with this a lot, but if there are any issue or tricks to running a network while on OS X.2.3, I'm all ears.
