List,

Today I've gotten about four "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" or
similar subject lines.

An example of the message:

"This message has been processed by Brightmail(TM) Anti-Virus using
Symantec's Norton AntiVirus Technology.

Vmys.pif was infected with the malicious virus W32.Klez.H@mm, but was unable
to be cleaned, and has been removed.

For more information on anti-virus tips and technology, visit
http://www.brightmail.com/antivirus .

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

       [EMAIL PROTECTED]

From: gerryu21220 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Date: Sun, 02 Feb 2003 16:07:12 -0500 (EST)
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: Congratulations"

Is this some kind of spam? I don't know these recipients, nor have I ever
sent them an e-mail. Normally if an e-mail bounces back, the original
message is included somewhere, but there's nothing here. Or is this how
that goofy KLEZ virus works, sending out phony messages with my e-mail
address?

Dazed and Confused,

Gerry
