Sorry, wrong choice of words, happens when English is not your native language..., couldn't find the word I was looking for, from what I understood from messages from you too the list is that you're not that 'fond' (is that written right?) of FWB and that you prefer other utility s/w above FWB's. I myself have only experience with FWB's HardDisk Toolkit s/w we used on optical disks in the past, but 'those days are over'. And I got myself a copy of FWB's Turbo Toolkit when I bought a 4400 :-) Nowadays I feel no need than to use Apple's own s/w. BTW is the utility from FWB which Marry Jo is talking about, "Partition ToolKit", updated for use with the latest operating systems? Yes, that's what I understood from previous messages on several lists the last few years. But I thought that if that utility was never updated since then it would not be wise to use older s/w with newer operating systems, just like people using an old Disk Doctor 3.x or TechToolPro 2.x on their latest G4s and afterwords complaining that it screwed up their Macs. Perhaps "Partition ToolKit" is for use with the latest operation systems (can't check now, no net access on this workstation), but even then I would just use Drive Setup. >That being said, I wouldn't trust it, myself, but would use Apple's method, as Mark >has recommended. Yes, indeed, but Marc said that, not Mark ;-) :-P * * -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
