Thanks for the replies but I've already tried both of those; after I 
get to the bottom of the message, nothing else happens. I prefer to 
have my mail box in one window; and the current message in another. So 
far the only advantage Mail has over Eudora are the bounce & junk mail 
features, while the navigation in Eudora is better for me. Since I 
don't get that much spam on this address, I'll probably continue to use 
Eudora until Mail improves its navigation. Of course if Eudora adds a 
bounce feature, then I'll stay with it forever.
