Well, sure, one can get lots of higher end work done with a Rev. A.  Absolutely.  I 
used mine for light Photoshop work, web design, ripping of MP3's, as a backup machine 
for my Newton.  Lots of uses right there.  Since getting a newer iBook, I have 
relegated the Rev. A as an experimental Mac.  It is nicely running YellowDog Linux 
right now and doing a fine job of it--a much nicer job than it would running X or Jag.
