I have an iMacDv, 400Mhz, using OS9.2.2. When I put my iMac to sleep it will
(with no regularity) go into a funny sounding click, click and not
completely go to sleep. Sometimes it does this each time I go to sleep
mode, other times it doesn't do it at all. I have to shut - down as the
machine become frozen in this position with a few outlines of open software
showing, but the screen is mostly gray. This started for me after I upgrade
from OS9.1 to OS 9.2.2. The machine went into sleep mode during the
download and installing of the OS9.2.2, right after I had installed 9.2.1.
I noticed that the instructions said to take the sleep mode off for
installation, but didn't notice this until after the download and
installation which was being done by software update on my Mac. Any ideas!
