Hello Everyone,
I have an iMac DV 400 which has run superbly since I purchased it in December 1999. I upgraded the RAM to 768 mb this year just before going to OS 10.2. No problems with the upgrades.

Recently I noticed that my iMac sleeps a lot. Maybe its overworked and tired. The holidays have been hectic. Maybe it just needs a rest. However when I ask it to wake up it ignores me. I plead with my space bar and then my mouse still my iMac slumbers doesn't wake. Its light remains green when it sleeps rather than turning amber. It used to turn amber. Before it sleeps so soundly it has great difficulties wanting to wake itself every few moments to check on something. I wish I knew what it needs to check up on.

I've done all the necessary medical checkups on it, Disk Warrior and Tech Tool Pro, latest versions. These doctors gave it a clean bill of health.

My first thought is maybe its memory is going, you know the P-RAM. Its just a thought.

Any other doctors in the house who might have an idea what is going on with lovely iMac.

TIA,
-----------------
RK Rossi
