Take install CD1 of the Jaguar set...it makes no different if it is retail or teachers version...both are the full version. Boot from CD 1 of the Jag set. When you get up to a desktop go to the file menu and choose disk utilities. Use the Disk Utility to format the drive again while booted from the Jag CD. After the disk is formatted don't restart and try to install Jag by going back to the installer menu. Most people aren't aware that you can get to the Disk Utility while booted up from the Jag CD since it looks like it is just an installer due to the way the install window is slammed in front of your face. Let us know what happens. I have to agree with Jeremy, of course, in that I have never heard of a "002" error. Take a screen shot if you have a digital camera so we can see it. Most Kernel panic's will happen on a white or gray screen with a small block of text either in the middle of the screen or in the upper right hand corner in a little black box. -- ============================================================== Kyle H.
