Point your browser to <http://www.store.apple.com>. There you'll find
all the Macs currently in production. What I would look at is not an
iMac, but the eMac. It's design is similar to the classic iMac. It
comes with a 700 MHz G4 processor, 40GB Hard Drive, a combo
Cd-RW/DVD-ROM drive, 56K modem, an included software package worth a
couple hundred dollars, 2 FireWire and 5 USB ports, for only $999. If
you want to spend a little more, the higher end eMacs come with a
Super Drive. Which enables you to burn both Cds and DVds.

I bought the family one for Christmas. And we love it. For the price,
it can't be beat. The eMac is probably all the computer that 95% of
us will ever need.
